Planning for Twin Cities Startup Week 2022 has officially kicked off! There's a ton of amazing things in store for this year's event, but the first step for anyone interested in hosting a session this year is the new TCSW Session Selector. Read on to learn more about the tool and how it's going to help shape TCSW 2022.
What is the TCSW Session Selector?
The TCSW Session Selector is a platform where you can submit your event ideas for Twin Cities Startup Week (TCSW) as well as vote for which sessions you want to see at the festival. The Session Selector is a way for the community to be more involved in the content presented at TCSW.
How do I use the TCSW Session Selector?
Creating and submitting a session through the TCSW Session Selector couldn't be easier. First, you'll need to create an account with some basic information. Then, it's time to submit your session application for TCSW 2022.
What information do I need to provide when submitting a session application?
The TCSW Session Selector Form (accessible after creating an account) will guide you through the process of submitting your session application. You'll need to provide details such as event location, approximate number of expected attendees, what industry you'll be focusing on, an image for the event, and more. You'll also need to agree to TCSW's diverse speaker requirement.
These details do not need to be finalized. We are using them to get a loose idea of what your session will look like. Also important — this information will be shared with the public if your session moves on to public voting.
What happens after I submit my session?
The TCSW team will review each session submission and either approve it for public voting (more on that soon!) or reject it with an explanation. If rejected, you can resubmit your session with changes until the application deadline.

- April 6th - Session Submissions Open
- June 12th - Session Submissions Close
- June 16th - Session Voting Opens
- June 29th - Session Voting Closes
- July 7th - TCSW Team notifies approved sessions and requests more event details
- July 27th - TCSW session final details due
- August 3rd - Launch TCSW Schedule & Public Registration
- August 3rd-September 23rd - TCSW Promotion
