We’re focused on reconnection this year at TCSW 2021, and we want to make sure we do so in a safe way.
As guidance is changing day to day, we want to provide our current policy regarding COVID-19 precautions and requirements at this year’s event. Our top priority is keeping everyone safe as we celebrate Minnesota innovation together.
Below is our policy for TCSW 2021 and event updates:
- Required proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 results within the last 72 hours
In collaboration with our venue partners, we’ve decided to go with standard protocol amongst Twin Cities event venues. Upon entrance to in-person events, attendees will need to provide photo ID, proof of vaccination (either by card or records that can be obtained online), or a negative COVID-19 test result from 72 hours or less prior to the event.
- Masks required inside and recommended for outdoors
As of right now we will be requiring masks for all indoor events. Disposable masks will be available at select locations but we encourage attendees to bring their own. Masks will remain optional for outdoor events and while actively drinking and eating.
- All mainstage events will be live streamed and can be attended virtually
Virtual has been and will continue to be an option! If you feel safer at home or are tuning in from elsewhere, we will be live streaming all main stage sessions and events. For event hosts that want to change their sessions to virtual on the platform Hopin, please fill out this TCSW 2021 Event Changes Form.
Troubleshooting:
At TCSW tracks and events, we will have volunteers checking cards and masks. At other locations, we encourage our venue partners to do this as well as part of the registration process. We will provide signage that lists requirements (proof of vaccination, photo ID, and/or negative COVID-19 test from last 72 hours) as a reference for guests.
If there are any issues with registration, we encourage our venue partners to remind guests that all mainstage programming will be live-streamed and that there are virtual ways to participate in the event.
Resources
COVID-19 vaccinations are free, and so is testing. Below are links to information, places to get the vaccine, and places to get tested.
We are so looking forward to seeing everyone this year, and want to make sure everyone feels safe!
