Twin Cities Startup Week started exactly as the title suggests — a week of showcasing our local startups and tech scene.
But as we’ve grown over the years, we’ve realized that tech isn’t the only exciting thing we have going on — in fact, it’s just one of the industries that makes this region as vibrant as it is.
That’s why we partnered with Aeterna Media to bring a variety of arts, food, and music events to TCSW 2021! Learn more about what we’ve got in store below.
On this panel, creative professionals from multiple industries will be discussing how they use technology in their work, and how they envision creative technology contributing to a more inclusive and abundant future.
Immediately following the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to experience immersive media first hand, with the VR social justice exhibit “One City, Two Realities,” put on by Rem5 VR Lab. During the event, Smart North will be announcing the launch of a design contest entitled “Hack Your City.”
Join us in the heart of the city in Loring Park to celebrate TCSW! This outdoor class is free and open to all. Alchemy's workouts combine yoga, strength and conditioning.
Open to all fitness levels. Please bring your own yoga mat. Pre-registration is required. Save your spot here.
It’s well-known that Minnesota is a music Mecca, and we wanted to incorporate this into TCSW! To that end, we’ll have a showcase of local artists along with big names — here's the current lineup:
Jaki Cavins (@jakimusic)
J. Plaza (@iamjplaza)
Mac Irv (@macirv)
Ozone Creations (@ozonecreations)
On Our Own (@onourowntv)
All TCSW attendees get free admission — just show your TCSW ticket to get in. Donations are encouraged, as they'll go towards supporting a music school in George Floyd Square.
If you’ve ever watched the Food Network sensation “Chopped,” you know exactly what this means. We’re bringing a lineup of up-and -coming Twin Cities chefs to each create a meal with products from local CPG startups. It will all be judged by a panel of award-winning chefs, athletes, and public figures. May the best meal win! This event is only available to VIP attendees, get (or upgrade) your ticket at the link below.
Entrepreneurs aren’t just tech founders; they’re jewelry makers, clothing designers, and artists. We’re showcasing local BIPOC and women-owned businesses all weekend long at pop-ups at each of our community hubs in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
What better way to highlight all types of innovation than a fashion show? During the week in partnership with True North Collaborative, local designers will showcase their pieces at this high energy event.
Don’t miss an opportunity to reconnect with the community and celebrate the Twin Cities at all of these great events! Grab your ticket to TCSW today.
